Apple Inc. may present the fifth-generation iPhone smartphone on August 7, reports the portal Know your mobile with reference to its own source in the industry.

Initially it was reported that iPhone 5 was scheduled for June 2012, but its release was postponed to October due to difficulties with the supply of components.

People in the market are expecting iPhone 5 since the fall of 2011. But then, Apple introduced an improved model of fourth iPhone – 4S. According to unofficial information, the new smartphone will be considerably different from previous versions. The new version of Apple’s iPhone will be larger than previous gadgets: screen size of the smartphone will increase to 4 inches to 3.5 inches. Headphone jack will be located in the bottom of the handset (in the previous models connector was located at the top). The rear panel is made of metal.

According to sources, the body of iPhone 5 would be thinner, because Apple is now shifting to more subtle displays of new generation.

Device would be powered by A6 quad processor and updated version of voice assistant Siri, as well as the technology can support Near Field Communication (NFC), which allows you to exchange data and make payments through wireless connections, if two devices are in close proximity to each other. The second microphone has been moved to the rear panel in order to improve the sound quality when shooting video, and the front camera is located above the speaker, which will also improve the experience of video calling. It is expected that the device will run a new version of mobile operating system iOS 6, which, according to the portal will be presented on the same day.

Though the portal has reported the release date of iPhone 5, but nothing has been mentioned about its price.
