Nokia is leaving no stone unturned to regain its lost position in the mobile phone market. And the recent move is the addition of 22 Namco Bandai classical games for Asha Touch Screen phones made available for download at Nokia Store.
The Finnish phone maker last month had annoucned its budget priced touch screen phones Nokia Asha 311, Asha 306 and Asha 305 as an extension to its series under the sane name. The gadgets are basically aimed at budget sensitive market segment which wants to experience the entry level specs of a “smartphone” from a brand like nokia. Nokia has many expectations from the upcoming Asha Touch phones powered by GHz processors to take on the biggies like Samsung and other small players.
Namco Bandai video games have been optimized for Nokia Touch phones and upcoming Asha 305, 306 and 311 which come preinstalled with the new Nokia Browser, which in order to save bandwidth shrinks as you are viewing content.
Now talking about the Namco Bandai retro classic games, Nokia Touch phone users will have to pay for them as the titles have been priced in the range of USD 0.99 and USD 2.99.
Nokia has also tied up with more than 145 operators worldwide for facilitating the download from official Nokia Store as the users will be charged through direct billing agreements with carriers and there won’t be any need to pay through credit card.
The list includes, but is not limited to the following game titles: Pac-Man, Flight Control, Soulcalibur, Final Fantasy, Ace Combat Northern Wings, Brain Exercise with Dr Kawashima, and Ridge Racer Drift.
